by Chinese party on the expiration of the original joint venture,
Laizhou Guangming Pencil Lead Co. Ltd. The company is the parent
company of four joint enterprises including Laizhou Guangda,
Laizhou Hongguang, Guangming Tongjhe, Guangming Yuanda, which
are founded by introducing fund from. America and Hongkong.
The company produces and sells 7000 tons Guangming and Liming
brand series pencil lead annually, 0.3 bill ion
Guangfa brand pencils, 2.4 million high grade soften pencil
flats, and 600 tons top grade pencil rubbers. In addition, the
company also produces high grade pencil lacquer, eyebrow pencil
and eyebrow pencil lead series products. The product of pencil
lead is classified into more than
150 varieties in 7 lines including black thin pencil lead, black
wide pencil lead, drawing pencil lead, color pencil lead, special
pencil lead, resin thin pencil lead and soluble color
pencil lead; the
product is sold well in all provinces and cities at home, also
it is exported to 39 foreign nations and states such as America,
Japan, Brazil, Germany and Hongkong. The company can earn 4
million U.S dollars of foreign exchange, and the capacity of
prod  ucing
and selling ranks first
in the world. The
product of pencil lead has been appraised as provincial and
ministerial outstanding product and has been awarded the name
of Famous Brand Product of Chinese Village and Township Enterprises
in succession.
The product also has won the gold medal in Agricultural Ministry.
The company has set up quality assuring system in accordance
with ISO 9002 standard, and has passed the appraisal certificate
of Chinese CQC and international CCAS separately.
